Electric Fans

There are many types of electric fans and they are used for different purposes. They are primarily used for producing the air when there is absolute stillness and people sweat and yearn for it especially during the summer months. They suck the air from outside and bring it into the stuffy and suffocative rooms.

Electric fans come in various designs and sizes and are fitted with motors and blades accordingly. Besides inside the rooms, they are also used extensively for backyard gatherings, large patios, sporting event sidelines, theatres, trains and halls. They can be used in room coolers, automobile engines, generators and can also be used as exhaust fans and cooling fans in a wide variety of engines and machines which require cooling and movement of air. Some of the major types of electric fans are:

Window Fans: They are mounted on the windows. They suck in the cool and fresh air from outside and expel the hot and humid air inside the room.

Box Fans: They are square shaped multipurpose fans which can be used to cool the specific areas in the rooms.

Tower Fans: They are tall, slim fans and occupy lesser space. They can cool and ventilate the entire room. They are comparatively nose free.
Ventilation fans: They are usually fixed upon the ceiling and are used in moist and humid rooms. They circulate the air and prevent mold and odors from accumulating in the room.

Industrial Fans: They have powerful heavy duty motors and are used to cool the industrial and commercial establishments.

Pedestal Fans: They are also called stand fans. They have a flat base and the fan is fixed at the top of the pole. They revolve from side to side to cool the room.

Table Fans: They are usually made for personal use. They are compact fans and placed on the top of small surfaces such as desks or tables.
Wall mounted fans: As the name suggests, these fans are fixed against the walls and deliver continuous cooling and ventilation.
Floor fans: They are round and pivoting fans that are placed on the floor or other flat surface.

A standard electric fan may feature 40,000 BTUs of cooling power, and can easily cover large areas up to 650 sq. ft. at much less expenditure than an air conditioner. They can conveniently connect with the standard hose for continuous misting. They are equipped with high velocity 3 speed shower proof motor, UV and rust resistant assembly. Their height can be adjusted to 54 inches. The 16 inch veined tube axial oscillation misting fan can lower the surrounding temperature by as much as 25 degrees.
